This release adds the Forge CLI MCP server guide so Cursor, Claude Code, VS Code, and other coding agents can sign you in, call Digital Insight APIs, and build, preview, and submit widgets and Aspects through chat. Forge CLI login now supports web browser sign-in (including forge login --browser) and username and password in the terminal, with new browser sign-in troubleshooting. CDX Extensibility Apps 1.1.9 standardizes extension development on pnpm — use pnpm run setup to install dependencies and pnpm exec nx to run Nx. This release adds Building Extensions Troubleshooting, updates Building Extensions and Forge CLI guides for that workflow, and adds a D3 documentation link on the Documentation Site home page. This release adds a new Java SDK section (version 1.0.0) with guides for setup, your first API call, reference docs, examples, framework integration, and troubleshooting. Forge CLI guides now cover forge env switch so you can move between Sandbox, Staging, and Production console environments without logging out, plus new forge ask flags for AI-powered docs search. Building Extensions guides explain which package versions to use in the extensibility monorepo and how to install them correctly.

This release rewrites Forge CLI Troubleshooting so FI developers can self-serve common CLI failures — organized around forge doctor, extensibility-apps checkout recovery, npm/Nx on Windows, web and mobile preview, aspect development, and submission. Forge CLI guides are also aligned with current CLI behavior, with cross-links and a troubleshooting callout on Quick Start. TypeScript SDK documentation is updated for 1.2.0.

This release refreshes the Forge CLI documentation for the release CLI: simplified auth, forge doctor, widget/aspect API contract commands, updated template counts and preset names, and removal of deprecated OIDC CLI workflows. We added the Create Your Own section, which covers FI-hosted applications launched in-frame or in a separate browser window, with Candescent managing the widget container, header, and SSO handoff. Additionally, the Extension Points section now describes how the platform defines stable extension point IDs, how extensions register through manifests, and how the extensibility framework resolves and loads them at runtime across web and mobile. This release also updated MX category taxonomy by refining categories and subcategories for consistency and clearer classification.
